What's to do around town?

Casa Nove is located in the quiet hamlet of Llanos de los Olleres, but not far from our idyllic location is Albox, a typical Spanish market town. In Albox you can find a mulitude of bars, restaurants and cafes, providing both Spanish and international cuisine.

Albox also has a famous weekly market. Every Tuesday the markets sprawl through the town selling all manner of produce, clothing and homewares. This is an event not to be missed.

If playing sport is your thing, then the Albox Tennis Club (Club de Tenis) is just down the road. Naturally, the club is equipped with Tennis courts, but also has Padel courts and areas to play Football, Petanque, and basketball. No problem if you want to take the kids, there's a children's playground and large public swimming pool too.

There are several other interesting activities to be found, all within close proximity to our villa.

If you fancy seeing Andalusia from the air, then why not give paragliding a shot with Gecko Fly Parapente.

In Partaloa is the well known horse riding school Rancho de Luz, offering lessons, trekking and escorted rides.

In Almanzora, you can find Mountain Biking Spain where you polish up on mountain bike riding skills.

Perhaps quad bikes are your thing? Then over in Velez Rubio are Cross Country Quads where you recieve tution in handling quads safely before touring the countryside.

Clay shooting enthusiates can recieve instruction at Clay Busters before firing a few rounds at the clay targets.

If you're looking for entertainment for the kids, then over in Arboleas is Escape Para Niños where older kids can practise their climbing skills and the youngers ones can play in bouncy castle.

For something really out of the ordinary, how about a ride along the ramblas in a tank? That's right, Tanks in Spain, a company based in Taberno, is offering hour long rides for those with a military urge!
